Upcoming Classes
Registration for all classes starts immediately.
Class fees are due at the time of registration.
If you are registering by phone, we will hold your place for five days only, to give you time to mail in the fees.
Refunds are issued only if the class does not fill or by your cancellation one week prior to class.
For classes in which materials are not provided, there will be a 10% discount on class materials one time only.
Provided materials and materials lists are given at the time of registration. Class samples are on display in the shop.
Register early - classes fill quickly!
If fabric is required for a class, be sure to get it ahead of time so that you will have time to prewash it. Prewashing requires a wash with soap and warm water and machine drying. Just getting it wet in cool water does not remove excess dyes retained by darker colors. If you are choosing fabric for a quilt class, please check with us to be sure that you have the proper materials. Obtaining fabric approval may save you many headaches during the class. If you bring fabric that is not suitable, you will more than likely be disappointed with your results. Many designs also require care in color selection for certain positions in the design. To get the most out of a class, let us help you be better prepared.
To save space and help you to determine what equipment will be needed for each class, we have set up the following code, appearing after each class title:
* - Beginner - no experience needed
** - Beginner with experience - some cutting and piecing experience
*** - Intermediate - skilled in cutting and piecing
HS - hand sewing supplies

Construction aided by fusible interfacing - lay out four sections, press it down and then simply sew in place. Fusible batting attached to lining, optional pockets and key strap. | #13 - MOUNTAINS OF FRIENDSHIP ** 2 wks - 2 hrs - $25 Fridays: February 17/24 9:30-11:30 This is a sawtooth strip reproduction quilt, a mix of reproduction and today's fabrics creates a nice mix. We have a great collection of reproduction fabrics at this time. This quilt is made up of 3 sets of Delectable Mountain blocks and an alternating strip between sets. Pat Konkel |

| #19 - MACHINE QUILTING * 2 wks - 5 hrs - $40 Thursdays: January 19/February 3 9:30-2:30 You can quilt those finished tops! This class introduces you to the basics of machine quilting. Instruction will include discussion of machine quilting supplies, thread, needles, batting and design. You will learn various machine techniques by working on sample quilting squares.
